The Family and Community Involvement Action Team wants to hear about the amazing WIGs you are working on at home!
The purpose of this letter is to inform you that your student will take the Renaissance Star Early Literacy or Reading and
the Star Math assessment on the dates below. Your students’ results from PM2 provide mid-year information on student
progress, and you will be provided with information about how to access the results after testing is completed.
Tommie Barfield Elementary will be on a paid lunch system for the 2025-2026 school year.
District Announcements
The priority window to submit a Parental Choice application opened January 14, 2026, and will run through February 22, 2026.
The Florida Department of Education (FDOE) released high school graduation rates for the Class of 2025. CCPS proudly announces our 2025 graduation rate is 94.4%, outperforming the State average by 2.2 percentage points.
Quarter 2 report cards are now available on the FOCUS Portal.
Each year, Collier County Public Schools receives federal funds to support eligible schools in our district. Feedback is valuable to schools as we plan for the 2026-2027 school year.

Together, we will build a culture where students feel safe, valued, and inspired to reach their highest potential. Through our continued commitment to the Leader in Me program, we will nurture leadership, character, and academic excellence in every student. Our mission is to find the genius in every child—and help them discover it in themselves. Your partnership is crucial to this process, and I encourage you to join us through our school PTO, School Advisory Council (SAC), or volunteering on campus or during school events . Let’s make this year one of growth, discovery, and stellar success!
