TBE Family WIGS
The Family and Community Involvement Action Team wants to hear about the amazing WIGs you are working on at home! At TBE, we believe in setting goals that truly matter—both schoolwide and personal. These are called WIGs, or Wildly Important Goals. A WIG has a clear purpose, is measurable, has a set time frame, and can be tracked along the way. Our schoolwide WIGs are academic in nature and align with I-Ready, helping students grow in reading and math. Every student also has a personal WIG and an accountability partner who offers support and encouragement throughout the journey. During this time of year, we often begin to think about our own goals for the upcoming year. As a fun challenge, we invite TBE families to create and share a family WIG with us at school! Your family goal might be walking or exercising together, reading more, enjoying screen-free days, saving for something special, cooking homemade meals, or drinking more water.
